Our mission
FutureGen is a charitable foundation focused on ensuring no young Australian is denied access to current and future career opportunities. We support individuals facing disadvantage and disengagement to attain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

We seek to counter the challenges faced by Australian youth in transitioning from school to work, and resolve the “People without Jobs and Jobs without People” paradox through addressing the financial, cultural, geographic or technological barriers experienced by too many young Australian job seekers.

We remove barriers to opportunity and success
We provide financial, educational and emotional support that enables individuals to develop the skills needed to participate and prosper in the workforce. We help them take greater control of their career path in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Your support will provide disadvantaged youth consistent access to industry leaders, employers and role models at a pivotal time in their lives. It will help shape their whole perspective and decision making to create a better future.

Scholarships and Grants
FutureGen is proud to be able to offer merit based scholarships to our long-standing partnerships. These scholarships provide existing apprentices and trainees with the opportunity to take their careers to the next level through international and national educational tours or tools of the trade.
We also remove barriers to success by providing grants to those working towards a vocational qualification who are at risk of not completing due to socioeconomic disadvantage or disability.
Our success
We work to create meaningful employment and education outcomes for disadvantaged young Australians. Since 2012, more than 2,400 young Australians have enrolled in our tailored job readiness programs, with more than 80% of program participants successfully progressing to ongoing employment or further study within 6 months of program completion.
